Offered is a colorful group of 5 empty drug store tins, circa 1940-50s. These medicine tins are all marked DERMA MEDICONE, with each tin advertising a different topical anesthetic ointment such as Benzocaine, Oxyquinolone Sulphate, Ephedrine HCL, and more.
One of the five tins is labeled “Hospital Packet” and the other four are noted as “Professional Packet”. The Hospital Packet tin differs in both the front and back lithographs as well as the text (see photos).
The 5 tins are all in nice condition with tiny, unobtrusive, minor surface scratches. One tin has a minor rust stain to the lower edge occurring from storage.
These diminutive tins measure just over 1.5 inches in diameter! An interesting addition to one's drug store or medical collection!
