******NOTE****** BOTTLES PRICED $55.00 EACH ***** Offered is a wonderful group of 3, circa 1920-1930 era, John Wyeth apothecary bottles sporting fancy, shield-shaped, gold toned foil labels. Decorative stock bottles such as these beauties were meant to be refilled and reused and were the pride of the pharmacy staff. Eye-catching, reflective medicine bottles such as these also served as an advertising mechanism as they often were placed prominently high on cabinet shelves in plain view. The 8.5 inch amber bottles are empty and in excellent condition. The ground glass stoppers cannot be removed and appear perfect. The front labels show slight wear and faint stains commensurate with age and use.
